1B Pitches is an event at the 1 Billion Followers Summit, where content creators and startups in the content creation space have a chance to shine. Twenty-five innovative startups will get the opportunity to participate in the event and pitch their groundbreaking ideas to a panel of top investors and industry experts. 1B Pitches will be held in the Emirates Towers in Dubai during the 1 Billion Followers Summit on January 11,12 & 13 2025
Content creators, startups, and innovative projects within the creator economy are all welcome to apply. Whether you’re a new startup or an established name looking to showcase your latest project, if you have a compelling idea and are ready to pitch, we want to hear from you!
Applications can be submitted through our website.Keep an eye out for the application period announcements and make sure to prepare a strong pitch that highlights your innovation and potential impact on the creator economy.
After you submit your application, it will be reviewed, and around 100 startups will be shortlisted in the first phase. If your startup is selected, you will be required to complete a more detailed application, and you'll be contacted via e-mail with further instructions. From there, 25 startups will be selected to participate in the event.
The 25 selected startups will gain access to an exclusive mentorship program before the event. Additionally, the 25 startups will have the opportunity to present their ideas and businesses at booths in the event venue. Their trips to Dubai will be fully covered, and they'll have opportunities to meet with investors, partners and clients. Finally, these startups will compete, where the winner will have promising opportunities for investment and partnerships.
This program includes expert consultations on fundraising strategies and pitching techniques, as well as thorough review of pitch decks. Startups will also receive hands-on training on how to effectively present their pitches, ensuring they are fully prepared for the event. You’ll have access to workshops and individual consultations. This mentorship aims to enhance your pitch and increase your chances of success at the event.
Our panel includes influential investors, industry leaders, experts and successful content creators. Each judge brings a wealth of experience and insight into the creator economy, offering valuable feedback and potential investment opportunities or partnerships.
Pitches will be evaluated based on several key criteria, including innovation, market potential, scalability and growth potential, competitive advantage, social and economic impact, and the solidity of go-to-market and exit strategies. The ability to execute visions will also be crucial. Additionally, judges will consider the overall impact of the project on the creator economy when making their decisions.
If you are selected as one of the 25 startups, you'll go onstage to present your ideas, answer questions from the judges, and challenge other startups in various activities. You will receive exact details about the competition format and activities once you are shortlisted, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the event.
There will be one winner in the 1B Pitches competition. The winner will receive a range of prizes, including investment opportunities, free services, and exposure to a wide audience of industry professionals. Specific details about the prizes will be announced as the event approaches.
