1 Billion Acts of Kindness Campaign Terms & Conditions

Campaign Name: 1 Billion Acts of Kindness with Mr. Beast

Presented by: 1 Billion Followers Summit (the "Summit"), in collaboration with MrBeastYouTube, LLC ("MrBeast"), Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives ("MBRGI") and the Varkey Foundation (collectively, the "Sponsors")

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, participating in or submitting content to the 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign ("Campaign"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not participate.

Your participation in this Campaign also constitutes your full agreement to these Terms and Conditions, and your consent to the collection, use, and handling of your personal data as described below.

2. Who Can Participate

To participate in the Campaign, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have access to a valid email address and internet connection
  • Own or manage at least one active social media account (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
  • Submit original content that aligns with the Campaign's purpose

You do not need to pay any fee to enter or participate.

3. How to Enter

Create an original video showing your act of kindness:

  • Short-form video (e.g., TikTok/Reels – under 60 seconds)
  • Long-form video (e.g., YouTube/IGTV – above 1 minute)

Post it on your social media platform(s):

  • Use hashtags: #1BillionSummit #1BKindness
  • Tag: @1billionsummit @MrBeast

Submit your entry through the official form by December 1, 2025, including:

  • Full Name, Email, Phone Number, Country
  • Links to your social profiles
  • Submitted video link
  • Description of your act of kindness

Sponsors reserve the right to waive any of the entry requirements at their sole discretion.

4. Selection Process

Between November 1, 2025 – December 1, 2025 all eligible entries will be reviewed by a selection panel representing the Sponsors.

10 creators will be selected based on:

  • Authenticity and creativity of the act
  • Positive impact of the story
  • Ability to inspire kindness through content
  • Engagement on social platforms

Winners will be contacted privately and publicly announced on January 9, 2026 at the Summit.

5. Trip to Ghana

The selected 10 creators will:

  • Attend the Summit (Jan 8–11, 2026)
  • Travel with MrBeast and the Campaign team to Ghana
  • Help build a village alongside local communities
  • Be featured in MrBeast's YouTube content as part of the Campaign
  • Be required to post a minimum of four (4) posts during the Campaign on Instagram or YouTube (depending on which platform represents the creator's largest following):
    • Creator IG & YouTube Posts of Summit (Jan 2026 after announcement)
    • YT Shorts or IG Reels behind the scenes (In parallel with the release of a MrBeast video (with such date to be determined))
    • Creator IG Reels Philanthropy (In parallel with the release of a MrBeast video (with such date to be determined))
    • Creator YT Shorts & IG Reels Ghana Trip (In parallel with the release of a MrBeast video (with such date to be determined))

Travel, accommodation, and related expenses will be fully covered by the Sponsors.

6. Content Ownership & Usage

Creators retain ownership of your submitted content. However, by submitting, you grant the Sponsors a:

Worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, edit, display, publish, and share your content, including your name, photograph, likeness, voice and statements for advertising and/or publicity purposes and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed and connected to this Campaign. You waive the opportunity and right to inspect or approve any such advertising, publicity or promotional materials.

This includes use on:

  • MrBeast's YouTube and social platforms
  • MBRGI, Varkey Foundation and 1 Billion Followers Summit websites/socials
  • Future Campaign promotions and press releases

You confirm that:

  • You own or have permission to use all elements of your content
  • Your content does not infringe the rights of any third parties
  • You have obtained permission from any identifiable individuals in your video

7. Code of Conduct

All submitted content must be:

  • Respectful, uplifting, and aligned with the theme of kindness
  • Free of hate speech, violence, illegal activities, or misleading content
  • Created legally and with consideration for the dignity and safety of others

The Sponsors reserve the right to remove, disqualify, or reject any content that violates these standards.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

By submitting the entry form, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes of:

  • Administering the Campaign
  • Contacting selected participants
  • Publishing winners (public name, social handle)

We will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. If you are selected, we may ask for additional verification or personal details to organize travel or confirm eligibility.

9. Waiver, Release and Limitation of Liability

Each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these terms and conditions, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the sponsors, warrants that they are eligible to participate in the campaign, and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the sponsor entities (as defined below) from and against any and all claims, losses, liability, and damages of any kind (including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses) asserted against any of them, incurred or sustained in connection with or arising out of entrant's participation in the campaign, breach of any agreement or warranty associated with the campaign, including these terms and conditions. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the campaign is a violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, the sponsor entities and each of their licensees reserve the right to seek any and all remedies available from any such person(s) responsible for any such attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By participating, you agree that the directors, officers, employees, interns, shareholders and contractors of Sponsors, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives and agents involved in the Campaign (collectively, the "Sponsor Entities") are not responsible for:

  • Electronic transmissions or entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, damaged, garbled, destroyed, misdirected or not received by Sponsors or their agents for any reason;
  • Any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures and/or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries or related materials; or for destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries or related material;
  • Failed or unavailable hardware, network, software or telephone transmissions, damage to entrant's or any person's property, including but not limited to, entrant's computer, phone, hardware, or software, which injury or damage may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Campaign; and
  • Any personal injury or damage

All participants take part in the Campaign at their own risk, and all travel will be arranged under appropriate legal and logistical safeguards.

Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify the Campaign if bugs, virus, fraud, technical failures or any other factor, including, but not limited to feed errors or downtime, technical difficulties affecting subscriptions, and third-party claims related to entries, impairs the integrity, administration or proper play of the Campaign, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Should any portion of the Campaign be, in Sponsors' sole discretion, compromised by non-authorized human intervention or other causes including but not limited to war, strikes, health crisis, epidemic, pandemic, civil disturbances, work stoppage, and/or acts of God, which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsors, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or posting of submissions, Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Campaign.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Campaign shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
